Amrita Sarpal

Dr. Amrita Sarpal is a faculty member of the Department of Pediatrics at Schulich School of Medicine at Western University.

I completed my Bachelor of Science in 2001, Medical Degree in 2004 and General Pediatric Residency in 2008 all at the University of Calgary and the Alberta Children's Hospital. I then completed a two year fellowship in PICU at BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver followed by a 3rd year of fellowship in PICU and Pediatric Palliative Care in Brisbane, Australia.  I have been a faculty member of the Department of Pediatrics at Schulich School of Medicine at Western University since August 2013.  My areas of clinical research include: goals of care discussions, quality of life, end of life care, moral distress, and health care provider and physician wellness.
