François Lamontagne
François Lamontagne joined the Canadian Critical Care Trials Groups in 2006 as a trainee and now holds a master’s degree in pharmacology (Université de Sherbrooke), another in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (McMaster University), a certificate from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada’s Clinician Investigator Program (McMaster University), a Canadian Institutes for Health Research Randomized Controlled Trial Mentoring Award and a Fonds de Recherche du Québec en Santé junior-1 career award.
François Lamontagne holds a position as assistant professor at the Université de Sherbrooke and practices as an intensivist at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Sherbrooke as well as a researcher in the Centre de recherche clinique Étienne-Le Bel. He is the instigator of the Research Platform for Patient-Centered Research at these institutions, a resource designed to facilitate investigator-led, peer-review funded research projects chiefly conducted on behalf of the Canadian Critical Care Trials Group.
