Advanced Practice Nursing Leader, Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Paediatric Critical Care Unit at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto Canada, with a clinical focus on the child and family experience of critical illness, provider well-being, clinician education and chronic critical illness in childhood. Appointed as a Project Investigator at the Centre for Safety Research, Research Institute Hospital for Sick Children in 2012 and the immediate past President of the Canadian Association of Critical Care Nurses. Currently completing a PhD at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, in knowledge translational and implementation science. Research interests are concerned with understanding how practice innovations are taken up in complex health care systems.
