I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at The Ottawa Hospital.

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine (University of Ottawa, The Ottawa Hospital) and an Associate Scientist in the Clinical Epidemiology and Regenerative Medicine Programs at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. My current research is largely preclinical and translational, focusing on novel biotherapeutics (e.g. cellular therapies for inflammatory diseases and cancer). I co-lead the Blueprint Translational Research Group with Dr. Dean Fergusson, and we are currently investigating evidence based approaches to prepare for early phase trials. I also have an interest in assessing and reducing risk of bias in preclinical work (with an eye to improving clinical translation) and we are assessing barriers to reducing bias and improving collaboration in bench work.
