Marie-Claude Battista
Holder of a PhD degree and 2 postdoctoral fellows in basic science, I have recently completed the Graduate diploma in clinical epidemiology at McMaster University. My work focuses on fundamental science, clinical/epidemiological studies and patient engagement. In the past 20 years doing research, I have been involved in the development of animal models, in the study of foetal programming and made significant contributions in the fields of gestational diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome, prostate and bladder cancers. As scientific lead of the CRCHUS method unit/CRO, I support researchers in developing the most rigorous clinical research projects and ease study implementation.
