Sangeeta Mehta

Dr. Sangeeta Mehta is a Critical Care Physician at Sinai Health System in Toronto. 

Dr. Sangeeta Mehta is Professor of Medicine and Clinician Scientist in the Division of Respirology and Interdepartmental Division of Critical Care Medicine, University of Toronto. 

She is the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Chair for the CCCTG.

She completed medical school at McGill University in Montreal, Internal Medicine training at the University of Toronto, and Respirology and Critical Care training at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.

Dr. Mehta’s research foci in critical care medicine include: the administration of sedation and analgesia, and the occurrence and risk factors for delirium, and sleep, psychological and cognitive morbidity following discharge from the ICU. Her other research passion is EDI within critical care medicine, and she has published and collaborated  nationally and internationally in this area.
